Community Center Special Announcement:   
 San Diego County Shifts to the ORANGE Tier
California public health officials on Tuesday 4/6/2021 announced that San Diego County has shifted to the state’s less restrictive ORANGE TIER, allowing for some indoor activities to reopen. The Community Center's hours have returned to our regular 7:30 AM - 10:00 PM schedule. Members should exit the pool and spa at 9:00 PM and the locker rooms at 9:30 PM.
Rooms at the Community Center that remain open are:
·         Auditorium for HOA, Club meetings and fitness classes
·         Library operations (capacity change) are permitted at full capacity
·         Fitness room (capacity change) capacity must be limited to 25%. 
·         Woodshop maximum number of people at a time is 2 (two)
·         Ceramics room maximum number of people at a time is 8 (eight).
·         Art/Sewing room maximum number of people at a time is 8 (eight).
·         Billiards room maximum number of people at a time is 6 (six).

Oaks North community Center amenities are open on a limited basis as allowed under State, City and County Health Department guidelines. Please click on the "ONCC SAFE REOPENING PLAN" below for information on which facilities are open and the restrictions for use (only Oaks North Residents--no guests--are allowed at this time). The center hours of operation have been modified in order to meet certain requirements of sanitation and social distancing.  Two important documents are listed below that explain your assumption of risk for using the facility and details of restrictions for the amenities of the center that will be available for your use. Please read them carefully.  Community Center hours until further notice are:   
         Open 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Closed 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM (for sanitizing purposes) 
Open 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Members must exit the pool and spa no later than 7:45 PM

The Emeritus Program challenges adults to stay intellectually stimulated, socially engaged and physically fit. A variety of courses meet the diverse needs of a 55+ population. Classes such as Brain Fitness, Job Search Skills, Music Appreciation, and the Writer’s Workshop are designed to benefit the mind, while others such as Health and Wellness, Nutrition, and Tai Chi benefit the body. Instruction is specifically designed for adults 55+ years and helps students maintain independence, rejoin the workforce and be actively engaged in the community.
