Oaks North Community Center, Inc. was created in 1972 as the master association of the residential community of Oaks North. Membership in ONCC is automatic and required by deed, when purchasing property in any of the fourteen separate residential areas. The primary purpose of ONCC is to manage and maintain the facilities and common area and offer amenities and social activities to the members. We promote participation in all aspects of community, including social, recreational, health and educational needs, with emphasis on enriching the lives of those age 55+.
The center has a large multi-use auditorium with kitchen, various size meeting rooms, exercise room, library, swimming pool, hot tub and men's and women's locker rooms, each with dry heat saunas. Additional amenities include a billiard room, nicely equipped woodworking shop, art and sewing room, ceramics room, game rooms, pickleball courts, tennis courts and a lawn bowling green. A public golf course is located within the boundaries of Oaks North but is NOT affiliated with the community association.
Funding for management, operations and maintenance is through an annual assessment to the members, which all members are obligated to pay as specified in the governing documents.
Use of the common area facilities are for members and invited guests only and are accessed by way of an electronic key fob system. Each member, in good standing, may obtain a key fob from the administration office during regular business hours.
