Board Director - Mike Barnwell, Member-at-Large

I am a native New Yorker and enlisted in the Navy when I was eighteen. I liked it so much I stayed 20 years.

I have been married to my wife Kathy for 57 years. We have three daughters and seven grandchildren.

Following the Navy, I worked as a Program Manager for a number of local companies including, General Dynamics Electronics, General Instrument, Kyocera and Qualcomm. During these years I earned my Bachelors and MBA degrees.

Kathy and I bought our Oaks North home in 2011, and after extensive remodeling moved in in June 2012. Best move we ever made.

We have been very active on our street. We organized and continue to lead block parties on Memorial Day Labor Day.

I am a regular attendee at the ONCC Board meetings and have been outspoken on issues. I attend most of the events and have volunteered at many activities at the center.

I am happy to have been appointed to the board as Member-at-Large for the remainder of the present term, ending in August 2026. I will do my very best to represent all of the residents of Oaks North.
