The remaining work after the May 25th post is wiring, connection to the electrical panel, etc. 
As such, it is not expected that there will be future updates to this page.

South facing canopy, completed. All done, both canopies.

 

The basic panel installation is completed. Next week is the wiring, micro inverters, lighting and other steps to complete the canopy installation which is expected to be done by Friday.  After that it's the wiring, conduit, connection to the electrical panel/switchgear. which is mostly work where the visual progress is a challenge to show. Since the remaining installation steps are not all that conducive to photo-story telling, it is not expected there will be future posts to this page.

Soil and related inspection completed, waiting for structural inspection. Only upcoming needed steel has been delivered to save on space within the fencing. Electrical inspection signed-off about 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 5. Mechanical/rebar/radius/etc. inspection Monday:

Friday, April 26, 2024 - Fencing.

Day 1 of installation: Monday April 29:

 

 

 

 

The solar permit was officially issued on April 5, 2024 after a near one-year wait but as expected from the history of similar projects and the City's timeline.
 
Contractor scheduling was immediately done, with fencing to be installed on Friday, April 26, 2024 and actual construction to begin on Monday, April 29, 2024.
