Board Vice President - Cathy Ellis

I had a diverse and impactful career. After dedicating 40 years to the computer industry, I brought my design talents to Canterbury Gardens for a decade before launching my own business, Sassie by Cassie, specializing in high-end home decorating and interior design.
 
My expertise shines during the holiday season, where I decorate Christmas trees ranging from 5' to 22' including holiday décor for clients in Rancho Santa Fe to Avon, Colorado. Also, in December I work with a good friend of mine, Tommy Sablan on his “Breaking and Entering” where we decorate trees and give presents to people in need. We do approximately 100 homes.  In October, I enjoy selling my crafts at local fairs and have returning customer’s year after year.
 
I'm affectionately known as "Chatty Cathy," which my parents have called me since the day I was born.  I took care of my parents for 27 years while they were battling Parkinsons and Dementia. I love connecting with people and am always ready to listen to community concerns, offering warm hugs along the way.  I enjoy playing Bingo on Tuesday night and attending any special activity concerning dancing.  I am committed to enhancing the community's clubs and activities, ensuring they are inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.  I want to thank you for allowing me to serve the Oaks North Community.
