Board Director - Barb Gattuso, Member-at-Large

My husband and I moved to Poway from Lake Forest, Illinois in 1993. We moved into Lomas Verdes, and while there, I served as President of the Lomas Verdes Homeowners Association. While serving, I developed a relationship with Chris Hodge of Elite Management. Chris is currently the representative of Elite management for The Oaks North Community Center.
 
Professionally, I spent 30 years as a surgical nurse, both in Illinois and California.  For the last 10 years I worked at Pomerado Hospital in their training center. My job was to train and certify employees, doctors and nurses in CPR, First Aid, and use of an AED.  Since leaving Pomerado last year, I have taught CPR at local companies and doctors’ offices. I also annually offer free CPR training for Oaks North residents.
 
I enjoy fishing and am a member of several local fishing clubs. My husband and I also enjoy traveling and do so often.
 
I love living in Oaks North and look forward to being on the board and providing the best service that I can.
